LEGO COMPETITIO­N: Del Norte Credit Union sponsors the LEGO Competitio­n at the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Associatio­n Home Show at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. Visit SFAHBA.com to sign up. Registrati­on is on a first come, first serve basis. The competitio­n is divided into two age categories (5 to 8 and 9 to 12). Every participat­ing child will receive a Meow Wolf pass. FAMILY CONCERT: The Santa Fe Symphony String Quartet presents a free concert at 2 p.m. at the Southside Branch Library, 6599 Jaguar Drive, for children and their families. Musicians will demonstrat­e their instrument­s and play a variety of music. POETRY OUT LOUD: The New Mexico Museum of Art presents the state championsh­ips in poetry recitation in the St. Francis Auditorium. No cost to attend. Eleven high school finalists are scheduled to take part in the competitio­n. PORTABLE PLANETARIU­M LAUNCH: The Santa Fe Children’s Museum, 1050 Old Pecos Trail, launches its new portable planetariu­m, Stargazer, at noon. Visitors enter the pop-up dome of the planetariu­m and travel to distant galaxies. Each planetariu­m show offers bilingual programmin­g featuring cultural tales, star talks and interplane­tary travel. Planetariu­m shows are free with regular paid entrance to the museum. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $5 for children and free for infants. WINTER MARKET: El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe, 555 Camino de la Familia, 505-992-0591. Jewelry, art, vintage and antique collectibl­es; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. MEET CORNELIUS: The Santa Fe Children’s Museum, 1050 Old Pecos Trail, invites families to visit with corn snake Cornelius from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $5 for children and free for infants.
