The new “Junior Edition: Recipe for Lovers” presents the juvenile yet formidable chefs with their toughest team challenge yet: preparing lunch service for a wedding with 75 guests. In keeping with the elegance of the occasion, both teams will be cooking such fare as racks of lamb and pan-seared halibut.

7 p.m. on CW Dynasty

Tragedy strikes the Carrington­s, making Blake (Grant Show) edgier than usual — and prompting Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) to debate whether their marriage can continue — in the new episode “Poor Little Rich Girl.” The discord between Fallon and Jeff (Elizabeth Gillies, Sam Adegoke) becomes widely known. Steven (James Mackay) tries to wrap his mind around troubling informatio­n about his grandfathe­r.

8 p.m. on ABC Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

During their time on the S.H.I.E.L.D. team, Fitz and Simmons (Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge) have confronted what seems to be every conceivabl­e form of threat, many of them potentiall­y lethal, so one might assume at this point the two agents are ready for anything. Not necessaril­y, though, because as they undertake a critical mission to seal the Rift, the pair are faced with the manifestat­ion of one of their greatest fears in the new episode “The Devil Complex.” Clark Gregg also stars.

8 p.m. on LIFE Laurieann Gibson: Beyond the Spotlight

One of the things that has helped make Laurieann Gibson such a formidable force in her field is her ability to stay laser-focused on the needs and requiremen­ts of her clients. She’s a bit distracted, however, in the new episode “Director’s Cut,” as she finds herself forced to deal with some troubling demons from her past while directing a new music video for R&B singer and reality TV star Tamar Braxton.

10 p.m. on DISN Movie: Pup Star: Better 2Gether

Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown, they say, which is why Tiny (voice of Kaitlyn Maher) is getting ready to defend the singing competitio­n title she won in the 2016 family comedy Pup Star. Standing in her way is Bark (voice of George Newbern), the scheming club owner who returns to kidnap Tiny and replace her with a rapping street Yorkie named Scrappy (also Maher). Obba Babatunde and David DeLuise co-star in this 2017 sequel.
