BOOK SALE: The Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library will hold its Spring Book Sale at the Southside Branch from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This sale will feature discount and specially priced books. FOLK ART FLEA: From toys to textiles and jewelry to masks from all over the world, the flea at the Museum of Internatio­nal Folk Art on Museum Hill features an array of treasures. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission is free. SPRING POWWOW: The Institute of American Indian Arts presents its Spring Powwow from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the IAIA Campus, 83 Avan Nu Po Road. WANNA PLAY?: The Candyman Strings & Things will host its ninth annual free Wanna Play? experience, which celebrates the importance of music education programs in schools and promotes the benefits of playing music for people of all ages and skill levels. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the store, 851 St. Michael’s Drive. Visitors will enjoy handson activities and ongoing performanc­es by students and local musicians, and free Frito pies. KITE FEST: Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood presents its free 17th annual Kite Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can bring their own kite, buy one at the festival or watch profession­al stunt kite flyers maneuver kites expertly in the wind. The Festival also features sustainabl­e living displays and a raptor demonstrat­ion at 2 p.m., weather permitting. Wildlife West is located at 87 North Frontage Road in Edgewood.
