The ultimate winner claims a $25,000 grand prize and bragging rights as Best Baker in America.
8 p.m. on CW iZombie
Actor Enrico Colantoni — who worked with this show’s executive producer, Rob Thomas, on Veronica
Mars — is the director of the new episode “Yippee Ki Brain, Motherscratcher!” That title is an obvious play on a famous line from Die Hard, whose theme this story shares as Liv (Rose McIver) assumes the identity of a maverick police detective. The onthe-job recklessness she adopts soon puts her in danger. Robert Buckley, Rahul Kohli, Malcolm Goodwin and David Anders also star.
8:30 p.m. on TBS Final Space
“Chapter Ten” closes out Season 1 of this clever animated space comedy, which finds an all-out battle erupting as the Lord Commander (voice of David Tennant) does everything within his power to find and capture Mooncake (voice of Olan Rogers). He also wants to stop Gary and Quinn (voices of Rogers and Gina Torres) from closing the entrance to Final Space.
9:01 p.m. on NBC Running Wild With Bear Grylls
The series — in which the highly outdoorsy Grylls, pictured, takes a different celebrity on an expedition in each episode — begins a new season with actor-producer Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who’s shown himself to be an adventurous spirit anyway, as the guest on a trek to Kenya. Chances are good that aspects of his movie performance as high-wire walker Philippe Petit in The Walk will come in handy for him here, since agility always is a plus for those tackling the endeavors on this show.
