6 p.m. on LIFE Movie: Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance Kicking off a week that will climax with the wedding of their real-life counterpar­ts, this new Lifetime original movie chronicles the love story of Prince Harry (Murray Fraser, The

Loch) and actress Meghan Markle (Parisa Fitz-Henley, Midnight, Texas), starting with their first meeting via mutual friends and through their courtship, as they try to keep their budding relationsh­ip under wraps. The cast also includes Burgess Abernethy and Laura Mitchell as Prince William and Kate Middleton, with Steve Coulter as Prince Charles.

7 p.m. on PBS Little Women on Masterpiec­e The newest version of the muchfilmed Louisa May Alcott classic — co-produced by England’s BBC and adapted by Call the Midwife creator Heidi Thomas — begins a two-part, two-week run. Maya Hawke, Willa Fitzgerald, Annes Elwy and Kathryn Newton, pictured (Big Little Lies) play the March sisters, whose lives with the family matriarchs (portrayed by Emily Watson and the legendary Angela Lansbury) largely fuel the saga. Michael Gambon, Dylan Baker and Julian Morris also are in the cast ... but as always, this story really belongs to its women.

7 p.m. on HALL Good Witch It may be Mother’s Day, but fathers are a recurring theme in the new “Daddy’s Home,” as Abigail (Sarah Power) is shocked speechless when the dad (guest star Art Hindle) who abandoned her 22 years ago suddenly reappears, seeking to make amends. Elsewhere, Sam (James Denton) plays surrogate father to Grace (Bailee Madison) when he notices she seems to be missing any real passion in her life.

8 p.m. on NBC Timeless The second-season-that-almost-wasn’t for the fantasy-drama concludes with two episodes. “The General” sends the time travelers back to the Civil War, where they plot with one of that era’s most famous figures to change the course of history. Then, in “Chinatown,” the team heads for late-19th-century San Francisco to retrieve the stranded Jiya (Claudia Doumit) — and you can expect a cliffhange­r.

11:45 p.m. on HBO Barry With Season 2 already a certainty, this hilarious dark comedy co-created by and starring Bill Hader wraps its first outing with a season finale called “Chapter Eight: Know Your Truth,” which finds Barry (Hader) firmly determined to give up his life of crime once and for all. As Moss (Paula Newsome) and her team close in on a major arrest that could crack their case open, Pazar (Glenn Fleshler) makes arrangemen­ts to take care of Fuches (Stephen Root).
