Santa Fe police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of aggravated indecent exposure, burglary, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and concealing identity after he was accused of entering a woman’s house and exposing himself in front of her.

According to police reports, Asaias Martinez entered a house on Harrison Road on the southwest-side of town on Saturday and stripped in the master bedroom. The owner told police she came in from her backyard and found him masturbating by her bathroom.

She screamed and told him to get out of the house, according to a police report.

But he laid on her bed, continued masturbating and asked the woman to take off his shoes, the woman told police.

When police arrived, they said, Martinez had put on his pants and underwear. According to reports, police found a glass pipe containing a white substance. Police spokesman Greg Gurulé said the department had not confirmed what the substance was.

The arrest report states when police asked for his name, he told them Carlos Martinez.

After fingerprinting him, the report states police identified the suspect properly through the Department of Public Safety’s computer system.

Gurulé said police were investigating whether Martinez is connected to the “South Capitol Creep,” who police are seeking for exposing himself and assaulting women over the past couple years in that neighborhood.

Jail records Monday did not indicate when Martinez was booked or any bond set.
