Phenoms Several young soccer players — all vying to represent their respective countries in the 2018 FIFA World Cup — are the subjects of this new, five-part documentary series. Opening with the episode “The Attackers,” the program also delves into the off-the-field lives of such rising stars as Dele Alli, Davinson Sanchez, Marco Asensio, Paulo Dybala, Gabriel Jesus, Ousmane Dembele, Adrien Rabiot, Hirving Lozano and Marquinhos. Another episode follows immediately. Quantico As the series moves to Fridays to finish out its run, a foreign diplomat’s assassination puts Alex and McQuigg (Priyanka Chopra, Alan Powell) on close watch of a prince — whose safety also may be in danger — in the new episode “Spy Games.” That hunch proves accurate, just as the identity of the potential threat proves surprising. Jake McLaughlin, Johanna Braddy and Blair Underwood also star. My Last Days Having first done this miniseries last summer, Jane the Virgin co-star Justin Baldoni, pictured, turns out a new edition with “Marinda & Anthony,” the premiere of the documentary’s threepart second season. He’s the executive producer and director as well as the host, as he profiles several people who are dealing with terminal illnesses. Each does so in his or her particular way, but they all send the message that a limited time can be filled with rich and deeply meaningful experiences. Life Sentence Though they thought they could handle their problems on their own, Stella and Wes (Lucy Hale, Elliot Knight) conclude that they need counseling in the new episode “The Way We Work.” Wes is able to get his mind off that situation for a while by helping Aiden (Jayson Blair) seek employment. Lizzie and Ida (Brooke Lyons, Gillian Vigman) have a tough adjustment to make in becoming co-workers. Great Performances New York’s Metropolitan Opera is “The Opera House” in Susan Froemke’s (Grey

Gardens) new documentary about the institution that has yielded some of the greatest stage performances in modern entertainment. Legendary soprano Leontyne Price, Met general manager Rudolf Bing and director Franco Zeffirelli are among those featured in the saga of the company’s move to a new home at Lincoln Center in the mid-1960s. Of course, scenes from some of the productions mounted there also are included.
