7 p.m. on USA Queen of the South

After a nearly deadly face-off with former boss and, now, deadly rival Camila Vargas (Veronica Falcon) last season, cartel empress Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga) strikes out on her own, determined to build a new empire for herself as this action-packed drama returns for its third season. The premiere, “La Ermitana” (Spanish for “the hermit”) finds Teresa laying low in Malta, before taking a first step into her new enterprise by striking a deal with a dangerous money launderer.

8 p.m. on ABC Match Game

Maybe it rarely reaches the silly, giddy heights of the original vintage edition of this game show, when Gene Rayburn played host to such memorably zany panelists as Charles Nelson Reilly, Joanne Worley and Fannie Flagg, but this reboot hosted by Alec Baldwin opens its fourth season tonight. Panelists include Kenan Thompson, Niecy Nash, Thomas Lennon, comic Caroline Rhea, Constance Zimmer and Mark Duplass.

8 p.m. on BRAVO Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce

Jake (Paul Adelstein) reverts to an old pattern of behavior with Abby (Lisa Edelstein) when he objects to Mike (James Lesure) moving in with her in the new “Rule No. 140: Don’t Eat the Yellow Snow.” Albert’s (Brian Markinson) semi-surprise party for Jo (Alanna Ubach) is interrupted by the arrival of Meryl Frumpkis (guest star Talia Shire), Jo’s former motherin-law. Phoebe (Beau Garrett) finally introduces Tony (Steve Talley) to her friends, and Delia (Necar Zadegan) ponders a huge decision.

8 p.m. on USA Shooter

Military veteran Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe) uncovers some mysterious details about the death of his father, Earl, that send him headfirst into another startling conspiracy, this one chillingly close to home, as this action series opens Season 3. The premiere, “Backroads,” picks up things after the Season 2 cliffhanger, with Bob Lee held hostage by Solotov (Josh Stewart), the deadly assassin.

9 p.m. on ABC Take Two

Eddie Cibrian, above right, has gone the television-detective route before, in CSI: Miami, but it’s the first time for Rachel Bilson, left, as they’re paired in this new, light crime drama. Ironically, she plays an actress who used to be a cop on TV, and she tries to recover from a career downslide by partnering with a private eye (Cibrian) to solve cases. If their teaming has echoes of the lead characters’ rapport and repartee in Castle, there’s good reason: This show is from the same creator-producers.
