Combining Forces to Help the Children of New Mexico

InJune of 2016, the Advisory Council of the Buckaroo Ball and the Board of Trustees of the New Mexico Children’s Foundation combined forces in an effort to provide more help to the children of Santa Fe County and throughout the state of New Mexico. Both organizati­ons, Buckaroo Ball for 24 years and the NM Children’s Foundation for 26 years, have raised and granted over $10 million dollars combined since their inception to programs benefittin­g “children at risk”. In 2017, the Buckaroos were delighted to grant a total of $100,000 to the following Buckaroo Ball Grantees: GIRLS INC. OF SANTA FE YOUTH SHELTERS AND FAMILY SERVICES LA FAMILIA MEDICAL CENTER OF SANTA FE ESPERANZA SHELTER Proudly celebratin­g its 24th Anniversar­y in 2018, The Buckaroo Ball is still produced and managed by a few volunteer members of the Buckaroo Ball Foundation along with the help of many community volunteers th board and staff of each year's non-profit recipients of the event. The Buckaroo Ball continues to support charities serving at-risk youth in Santa Fe County and are proud to announce that our four grantees for our 2018 event are....... GERARD'S HOUSE THE MOUNTAIN CENTER SOLACE CRISIS TREATMENT CENTER THE SKY CENTER / NEW MEXICO SUICIDE INTERVENTI­ON PROGRAM These charities will be putting their grants to optimal use by helping our most vulnerable population to gain access to proper health care, thrive in and enjoy school, and rise above personal tragedies and obstacles to reach their potential. With deep gratitude, we thank all who have supported the Buckaroo Ball during the past 24 years and look forward to your continued support!
