7 p.m. on HIST Mountain Men

Several familiar characters must confront crucial challenges ranging from devastatin­g losses to intimidati­ng new responsibi­lities as this hit unscripted series begins Season 7. In the premiere, “Nowhere to Run,” Morgan tries to get a head start on the approachin­g winter season by venturing onto an island with a heavy bear population, while Montana’s raging wildfires surround Tom.

8 p.m. on NBC Trial & Error

The satire of crime-documentar­y shows returns for a second season with “The Suitcase” and a new protagonis­t, played by someone absolutely perfect for this series’ tone: Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth, portraying a socially prominent but offbeat heiress who becomes the prime suspect in the bizarre death of her husband. She needs the help of attorney Josh Segal (continuing co-star Nicholas D’Agosto). Jayma Mays, Sherri Shepherd and Steven Boyer also are back in the regular cast. Another episode follows.

8 p.m. on BRAVO Girlfriend­s’ Guide to Divorce

Abby (Lisa Edelstein) confronts a future filled with unknowns as her daughter heads off to college and Barbara (Retta) relocates to New York to pursue fresh opportunit­ies in the series finale, “Rule No. 1: Keep the Toast Short.” As Jo (Alanna Ubach) tries to decide whether she wants a future with Albert (Brian Markinson) or Frumpkis (Maury Sterling), Delia (Necar Zadegan) wrestles with the big question of how to handle her unexpected pregnancy.

9 p.m. on ABC Take Two

Believing he had a terminal illness, a man hired a profession­al killer to eliminate him — but upon finding out the medical diagnosis was wrong, he enlists Sam and Eddie (Rachel Bilson, Eddie Cibrian) to prevent the hit and let him live in the new episode “Death Becomes Him.” The investigat­ion also reveals another contract killing that’s set to take place. Xavier DeGuzman, Aliyah O’Brien and Alice Lee also star.

11 p.m. on FX Snowfall

Season 2 of this gritty drama moves the action into 1984, as Franklin (Damson Idris, pictured) is having to struggle just to meet the escalating demands of his thriving business in the premiere “Sightlines.” Elsewhere, Lucia (Emily Rios) takes things too far in her determinat­ion to impress a shady new partner, and the CIA cuts Teddy’s (Carter Hudson) support, the result of changing political tides, just as he’s trying to recruit a new pilot.
