Magazine photographer Alex Anderson (Jill Wagner) joins author Colin Page (Kristoffer Polaha) on a trip to Fiji, part of a quest to find a long-lost pearl Colin wrote about in his runaway best-seller Pearl in Paradise. If they succeed, their professional rewards will be considerable, but as they trek through the bush, their conversation turns to more personal topics, each revealing points of vulnerability. Rob Kipa-Williams and Naomi Sequeira also are featured in this 2018 romantic adventure.
7 p.m. on SHOW Movie: Lynyrd Skynyrd: If I Leave Here Tomorrow
Steven Kijak’s new concert documentary incorporates rare interviews and previously unseen footage into a journey through the history and legend of one of America’s most iconic rock bands. The good ol’ boys from Jacksonville, Fla., pictured, emerged from the swamps of the Deep South and swiftly came to define a whole era with their hard-rocking sound, haunting lyrics and drunken antics that verged on the dangerous. Then there was the matter of how they used the Confederate flag, which sparked widespread controversy.

In the new “Fledgling Penguins,” four young Humboldt penguins are segregated from the main penguin colony until they are mature enough to compete for fish in the main pool. At first, these youngsters are determined to rejoin their parents, but by the time they get the greenlight, they’ve come up with some other ideas. In another part of the zoo, Boris the chimpanzee captures a moorhen chick, so Niall, Boris’ human keeper for 44 years, tries to negotiate a safe release of this feathered hostage.

Mehgan James started her clothing line, 800 West, to prove she was far more than merely the bad girl image cultivated by her TV project. Unfortunately, after she falls months behind in paying her vendors and allows the debt to pile up, Mehgan’s partner and head designer has severed ties with her. That’s why she is turning to Mahisha for her advice and help to fix the struggling business, which is nearly on life support, in the new episode “Bad Girl of 800 West.”
9 p.m. on HBO Movie: Darkest Hour
Gary Oldman won an Academy Award as best actor, among other awards and accolades — for his uncanny portrayal of Winston Churchill during his early days as Prime Minister of Great Britain, which saw Nazi Germany’s imposing forces sweeping across Western Europe. Nominated as well for best picture at the Oscars, Joe Wright’s 2017 war drama also features Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James and Ronald Pickup.
