Still struggling to heal from the overwhelming trauma of losing her family, as well as members of her extended clan, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) is forced to deal with still more ghosts from the past as she seeks some refuge from — metaphor alert! — an approaching storm, in the new episode “Close Your Eyes.”
7 p.m. on HMM Garage Sale Mysteries
After accepting a vintage camera collection from the estate of a recently deceased businessman, consignment shop owner Jennifer Shannon discovers that one of the cameras still has film inside in the new mystery “Picture a Murder.” After she develops the film, she finds images that suggest the camera’s owner didn’t expire of natural causes. Sarah Strange, Kevin O’Grady, Eva Bourne, Connor Stanhope, Donny Lucas and John Emmet Tracy also star.
7 p.m. on SHOW The Affair
This splendidly acted (and Golden Globe Award-winning) drama series recently was picked up for a fifth and final season that will premiere in 2019, but for now, Season 4 ends with a finale that finds Noah and Anton (Dominic West and Christopher Meyer) visiting Yale, where Noah runs into an old acquaintance. Elsewhere, a difficult day that Cole and Luisa (Joshua Jackson and Catalina Sandino Moreno) would just as soon forget forces them to re-examine their relationship.
7:01 p.m. on DSC Alaskan Bush People
After a harsh year — which included matriarch Ami’s harrowing battle with cancer — the large Brown clan is more than ready to get back to the wild as Discovery Channel’s highest-rated series returns for Season 8. They’ll certainly face fresh challenges on their 400 acres of raw Pacific Northwest wilderness, trials that begin almost immediately when the road leading to their new home turns into a treacherous, muddy mess. Fixing that thruway will be a daunting undertaking.
9 p.m. on NBC Shades of Blue
Harlee (Jennifer Lopez, pictured) ends up in the hot seat, reasonably literally, as she testifies before a police commission in the new episode “By Virtue Fall.” Wozniak (Ray Liotta) and her other colleagues have reasons to be concerned on many levels, and they do whatever they can to assist her from outside the hearing room. Drea de Matteo, Hampton Fluker, Vincent Laresca and Sarah Jeffery also star.
