In the new “Episode Twelve,” host Jamie Foxx, pictured, welcomes more two-person teams who compete to see who has a better knowledge when it comes to some of the biggest musical hits of past decades. The team who achieves the highest score then goes up against the song identification app Shazam for a chance to win up to a cool million in prize money.
7 p.m. on TNT Animal Kingdom
Executive producer John Wells wrote the Season 3 finale, “The Hyenas,” in which J (Finn Cole) starts to realize it may be impossible — and also dangerous — to try balancing his personal ambitions with his family responsibilities. Meanwhile, Deran’s (Jake Weary) desire to take things with Adrian (Spencer Treat Clark) to the next level proves to be even harder than he had expected, but Frankie (Dichen Lachman) opens new doors for Craig (Ben Robson).
8 p.m. on CW The Outpost
Talon (Jessica Green) vows to find the mysterious and elusive “Book of Names” in this new episode of that title, which also sees the true identity of Gwynn (Imogen Waterhouse) finally revealed. Talon also agrees to serve as an escort for Janzo (Anand Desai-Barochia) as he embarks to attend a meeting with the supplier of the Worm’s colipsum, outside the protecting walls of the Outpost.
8 p.m. on OWN Love Is...
This freshman drama, which its network recently picked up for another season, continues with this new episode “Love Is Engagement,” in which a former lover seeks to rekindle his romance with Nuri (Michelle Weaver). Meanwhile, Sean (Tyrone Marshall Brown) makes a personal revelation to Yasir (Will Catlett), who has managed to find a place to stay.
9 p.m. on NBC Making It
The title of the new episode “All of the Holidays at Once” describes the challenge faced by the Makers, as they have to create items for several of the major celebratory occasions of any year. Halloween is one of them, with whatever material is readily at hand going into creative costumes. Of course, Christmas also is on the list, with decorative doors as another part of the test. Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman are hosts and executive producers here.
