MODEL TRAINS: Be the conductor of model trains from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. Tracks are set up and maintained by the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club; by admission. FAMILY MOVIE MATINEE: The Southside Branch Library hosts a free screening of the animated film Early Man from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. FAMILY WALK: The Santa Fe Conservati­on Trust and the Railyard Park Conservanc­y offer a guided, family-friendly walk from 9 to 10 a.m. from the Railyard Park Community Room to Acequia Trail. Anne Nelson of the Railyard Park Conservanc­y will lead the walk. FIESTA PET PARADE: About 2,000 children and pets in costumes, with thousands of supporters and tourists looking on. Lineup is at the New Mexico School for the Arts, 275 E. Alameda St. Food concession­s and entertainm­ent on the Plaza follows from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.

HISTORICAL/HYSTERICAL PARADE: Also known as Desfile de la Gente, the annual Fiesta de Santa Fe parade will be held at 1 p.m. in the downtown area.
