Acclaimed filmmaker Joe Berlinger’s true-crime miniseries, which looks back at the ghastly 2014 murder of a small-town Mississippi teenager and the racially charged murder trial that followed, continues with the new episode “A Dying Declaration,” which takes its title from testimony by emergency medical technicians who rendered care to the victim in her last moments. The EMTs stated that critically injured Jessica Chambers made a dying declaration, one that could generate new leads in the ongoing investigation.

7 p.m. on BBCA Planet Earth: Yellowstone

As winter snow recedes, the lush and diverse glories of Yellowstone National Park are fully revealed as the region moves into “Summer,” the second of three episodes. Herds of elk, pronghorn antelope and bison emerge from their winter turf in the surrounding lowlands to avail themselves of America’s richest natural grasslands. Elsewhere, groggy grizzly bears come out of hibernation and begin giving their young a master class on the secrets of surviving in this stunning yet challenging environment.

Cupcake food truck owner Natalie (Nikki DeLoach) and Eric (Dylan Neal), pictured, a divorced single dad and finance manager, meet in San Francisco after his aunt dies and — given her long-standing fondness for Natalie’s confections — bequeaths them jointly a building that once housed a celebrated bakery. The pair decide to renovate the bakery and reopen it for business in this new 2018 romance.

In the conclusion to a two-part episode, the new “Female Felons: Healing is the New Black (Part 2)” finds Matilda, Iyanla’s latest client, facing a painful day of reckoning. For years, this ex-convict thought she had succeeded in keeping her two worlds securely separated, but now that the cat’s out of the bag, she’s confronted by the unpleasantness of having both her “prison daughters” and her biological offspring taking the stand to testify against her.

Mahisha may be biting off more than she can chew when she visits a small popcorn company that’s suffering from a huge production problem in the new episode “It’s Poppin’ Off at Aunt Emma’s Popcorn.” This niche company is struggling for its very survival, but what seems like an obvious solution to Mahisha — releasing the popular recipe for mass production — is being stonewalled by the stubborn owner of the business.
