MEET CORNELIUS: The Santa Fe Children’s Museum, 1050 Old Pecos Trail, invites families to visit with corn snake Cornelius from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $5 for children and free for infants. SEEDS AND SPROUTS: Learn all about plants through weekly themed activities from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. Children will do hands-on gardening and nature craft projects, by admission. FALL BOOK SALE BAG DAY: The Southside Branch Library, 6599 Jaguar Drive, offers books for sale — $10 per bag — from 1 to 4 p.m. Teachers with an ID can get books for free for their classrooms beginning at 2 p.m. SANTA FE DEAD: Santa Fe Playhouse presents a Halloweent­hemed immersive threater adventure in Unit 1264 of the Santa Fe Place mall, next to the post office, 4250 Cerrillos Road. In the spirit of Dawn of the Dead, the undead have taken over this section of the mall. Teams of up to six, armed with foam dart guns, will fight their way through an abandoned storefront trying to find the ultimate weapon, capable of taking down hoards of zombies. One part haunted house, one part theater and one part live-action video game, this 45-minute adventure is recommende­d for brave souls 12 years of age and up. OPERA AT THE LIBRARY: In celebratio­n of National Opera Week, the Southside Branch Library presents a free concert at 1 p.m. featuring the Young Voices of the Santa Fe Opera. The 10-year-old Santa Fe Opera program was created to nurture the talents of high school students interested in singing classical music. HAUNTED LIBRARY: The Vista Grande Public Library in Eldorado celebrates Halloween from 4 to 7 p.m. with a special story time and family activities, treats, and a costume parade and contest.
