The Santa Fe Community Foundation has announced the appointmen­t of four new board members and a new board chairwoman.

Joining the board of directors are Lillian Montoya, Elmo Baca, Patricia Marcus Curtis and Robert “Vince” Smith.

Montoya, a Santa Fe local, is the CEO of Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.

Baca was born and raised in Las Vegas, N.M. He is a founding board member of the Las Vegas New Mexico Community Foundation, an affiliate fund of the Santa Fe Community Foundation.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in historic restoratio­n and cultural preservati­on.

Marcus Curtis is an active community member who has served as a board member for nonprofits in New Mexico and also has offered organizati­onal developmen­t counsel to several nonprofits in Santa Fe and the region.

Smith was already on the foundation’s Investment Committee and will now serve as the committee chairman.

Smith’s deep investment expertise with the New Mexico State Investment Council, where he serves as the chief investment officer, will aid the foundation in its investment goals and help grow its grantmakin­g power.

The Santa Fe Community Foundation now has 20 board members, including new board Chairwoman Lisa Enfield.

Enfield was born and raised in New Mexico and received a law degree from the University of New Mexico.

She has been practicing law in New Mexico for 30 years.

She has served as vice chairwoman of the board of directors for the past two years and has been a board member since 2013.
