SCIENCE SATURDAYS: The Santa Fe Children’s Museum offers science fun for all ages from 1 to 3 p.m. with guest scientists and STEM instructor­s. A new experiment or activity every week; by admission. MODEL TRAINS: Be the conductor of model trains from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. Tracks are set up and maintained by the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club. STUDENT SCULPTURE EXHIBIT: Gallery FRITZ, 540 S. Guadalupe Street in the Railyard, presents an exhibit of works by Santa Fe High School students called I’d Like to Walk a Day in Your Shoes from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The students worked under the mentorship of ARTsmart’s 2019 Honorary Artist, Heidi Loewen to create embellishe­d ceramic shoe sculptures inspired to reflect the students’ own self-images. OPERA MAKES SENSE: The Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Public Library and Museum of Internatio­nal Folk Art present a program from 10:30 a.m. to noon for children age 3 to 5 to explore the world of opera through a variety of activities and games addressing different developmen­tal levels of toddlers.
