LANL FOUNDATION SEEKS GRANT APPLICANTS
The Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation is accepting applications for $2,500 education and community outreach grants. The deadline for submission is Friday.
Two types of grants are offered: education outreach grants that directly support public school children in grades K-12; and community outreach grants that support innovative programming and collaboration, and advocacy for lifelong learning that need not be tied directly to K–12 public education.
Early childhood and adult learning programs and some community events fall within the category of community funding.
Public school districts, nonprofits, government agencies and tribal communities that serve Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe or Taos counties are eligible for the grants.
Application forms, instructions and additional information can be found at lanlfoundation.org/grants.
