7 p.m. on HIST Ax Men

Since this long-running reality series left the air in 2016, many of the featured logging families in the Pacific Northwest have been fractured under the pressures of economic hardships and changing climate conditions. Family businesses have been thrust into jeopardy by these and other challenges. A new generation of loggers is ready to start wielding their axes again, reflecting at least a temporary upswing in the timber industry. Meanwhile, the old guard seeks redemption as Season 10 launches.

7 p.m. on HMM Movie: Christmas Camp

Advertisin­g executive Haley (Lily Anne Harrison) is up for a promotion at her trendy agency, but as a final test, she’s tasked with landing a toy company with a traditiona­l image as a new account. Determined to get everything right, Haley heads off to a Christmas camp for a crash course in tried and true yuletide traditions. There, she meets Jeff (Bobby Campo), the handsome son of the camp’s owner, whereupon nature takes its course in this 2019 romance.

8 p.m. on NBC Hollywood Game Night

Emmy winner Jane Lynch returns with new episodes of engaging parlor games that might be lifted from one of your own parties, if your parties were frequented by some of Tinseltown’s brightest stars. As of this writing, NBC hasn’t announced which of those celebritie­s will appear in tonight’s episode, but among those reportedly on tap in the weeks to come are Superstore colleagues Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn and Nico Santos, and Jameela Jamil, D’Arcy Carden and Marc Evan Jackson from The Good Place.

8 p.m. on CW The Outpost

Season 2 of this adventure fantasy opens with a premiere called “We Only Kill to Survive,” which finds Talon (Jessica Green) recalling the ghosts of her childhood as she summons a new threat. Elsewhere, as Garret (Jake Stormoen) searches for Dred, Gwynn (Imogen Waterhouse) focuses on getting the Outpost ready for war.

9 p.m. on MTV Jersey Shore: Family Vacation

The roommates return with more new episodes fraught with interperso­nal drama, but the squad at the moment is huddled around Mike, who’s coping with two major upcoming events, the first (his wedding) happy, the second (a prison sentence) anything but. Elsewhere, Jenni is pondering divorce, Deena’s due to give birth any day and Pauly can’t resist planning another wedding prank. Elsewhere, Ronnie is sick of the others making jokes at his expense.
