The Zoo: San Diego
This new unscripted series takes viewers behind the scenes of San Diego Zoo Global, which aims to save species worldwide while inspiring passion for animals and nature. Featuring two parks — the celebrated San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park — it’s home to more than 700 species and 6,500 animals. Among the many featured critters this season are pandas, giraffes, two baby cheetahs being trained as ambassadors for their species, and a flock of ostriches known as the Spice Girls.

V.C. Andrews’ Fallen Hearts Adapted from the third of five novels in V.C. Andrews’ Casteel Family book series, this chapter in the tale finds Heaven Stonewall (Annalise Basso) happily married and ready to settle into life in her hometown, until grandfather Tony Tatterson (Jason Priestley) lures her back to her previous pampered existence in the family mansion. Eventually, however, ghosts out of Heaven’s past rise up to threaten that cozy and insulated world. Kelly Rutherford and Jessica Clement also star.

Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports 2019
Three-time NBA champion and Olympic gold medalist Dwyane Wade and U.S. Women’s Soccer superstar Megan Rapinoe, pictured, enjoyed major moments in the spotlight during the sixth annual edition of this high-energy (and slime-filled) celebration of favorite athletes and the past year’s most unforgettable sports moments, as selected by young fans in online voting. Rapinoe, also a noted social activist, receives the Generation of Change award, while Wade’s long career is acknowledged with the Legend award. Michael Strahan hosts the ceremonies, filmed last month at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Movie: A Taste of Summer
When sous-chef Gabby (Roselyn Sanchez, Grand Hotel) finally is able to realize her dream of opening a restaurant, she finds herself forced to contend with competition from Caleb (Eric Winter, The Rookie), a former high school baseball hero who now runs a popular casual dining spot. Gabby doesn’t let it ruffle her too much until her high-class opening night, when she confronts a nearly empty restaurant because Caleb is running an aggressively promoted wings special. Amanda May and Matt Mazur co-star in this 2019 romance.
