This new three-part docu-series, continuing nightly through Tuesday, looks back through American history to explore the stories behind such food titans as Henry Heinz, Milton Hershey, C.W. Post, John and Will Kellogg and the McDonald brothers. Brilliant and sometimes ruthless, these visionaries changed the American landscape forever with their revolutionary foods. The two-hour season premiere, “Lines in the Sand,” explores how Heinz, Post and the Kelloggs launched their businesses in the days following the Civil War.
