Apa) Halloween bash — designed to offer a safe space for local kids — is breached by some unwelcome party crashers.

Halloween always has been an important holiday to the extended family at the heart of this Emmy-winning sitcom, which is playing out its final season. In the new “The Last Halloween,” after years of failure, Phil (Ty Burrell) is determined to scare his unflappable wife, Claire (Julie Bowen), but it’s Gloria (Sofia Vergara) who’s feeling frightened — about her age, when, for the first time, someone correctly assumes she is married to the much-older Jay (Ed O’Neill).

After criminals steal a huge arsenal of Los Angeles Police Department assault rifles, Street (Alex Russell) reaches out to his estranged foster brother, Nate (guest star Cory Hardrict), to assist with the joint investigation between SWAT and the Long Beach Police Department in the new episode “The LBC.” Meanwhile, Hondo (Shemar Moore) clashes with his father (recurring guest star Obba Babatundé) over the latter’s increasingly serious health problems.

In the new episode “Triangles,” a panel of experts delve into the head-spinning mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle, while other investigators look for the source of strange sightings made by several witnesses in Massachusetts. Producer George Shapiro delivers a love letter to his hometown borough in this new documentary directed by Danny Gold, which finds Shapiro walking through familiar streets as he revisits memories from his childhood and talks with members of the 2017 graduating class of DeWitt Clinton High School, where Shapiro himself graduated in 1949. The film also features interviews with such famous Bronxites as actor Alan Alda and his wife, Arlene; singer Melissa Manchester; former Secretary of State Colin Powell; and Carl and Rob Reiner.
