7 p.m. on CBS CBS News: State of the Union 2020

Most of the broadcast and all the major cable news networks present coverage of President Donald Trump’s annual address to a joint session of Congress, in which he’ll offer his assessment of what’s currently working in the United States and what he thinks needs improvement. He may well also spend some time making the case for his own reelection in November. The Democratic Party’s response immediately follows on most of these channels.

8:30 p.m. on FOX

Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back “Seafarer’s Family Restaurant” is the struggling Manassas, Va., seafood eatery that gets the focus of Chef Gordon Ramsay, pictured, and his crew in this new episode. At first glance, the business’s prime location would seem to enhance dinner traffic, but instead, the family running the place is being torn apart by the strain of supporting three households on declining revenue. The Ramsay team gives the restaurant a striking makeover, a fresh new menu and renewed hope for the future.

9 p.m. on FX Movie:

Ferdinand John Cena provides the voice of the title character, a flower-loving pacifist bull who resists his enforced destiny in the bullfight arena, in this 2017 feature-length computer-animated adaptation of the same children’s book that inspired the Oscar-winning 1938 animated short Ferdinand the Bull by Walt Disney. Kate McKinnon, Bobby Cannavale, Gina Rodriguez, Daveed Diggs and Gabriel Iglesias also lend their voices to the film, which earned an Oscar nod as best animated feature (but lost to Coco).

9 p.m. on MTV

Siesta Key In the new episode “Why Are You With Somebody Who Doesn’t Deserve You?,” Juliette and Alex finally meet up for the first time in months. Alex introduces his new girl to the group. Officially, Kelsey is dating Jared, but she also feels free enough to admit to herself that she’s distracted by her boss, Jake. Later Juliette tries to make amends with Chloe and Amanda.
