Hunt for the Bone Collector Lincoln, Amelia (Russell Hornsby, Arielle Kebbel) and the rest of the team race to try and stave off a grisly tragedy after a politician’s teenage daughter is kidnapped and held for ransom in the new episode “Original Sin.” Later, the team makes a discovery that rates as a dramatic breakthrough: the true identity of the Bone Collector. Emmy winner Matthew Heineman directs this four-part docuseries as it moves into its second season, following Central Americans on an odyssey to the United States — or on their way back home from there, having been deported. The program also explores shadow industries that prey on these vulnerable individuals and families every day, particularly the smugglers and traffickers who take advantage of these helpless people, especially with law enforcement officials aggressively pursuing them at the border.

While Frank (Tom Selleck, pictured) debates whether to protect his old friend Chuck Kennedy (guest star Ed Asner), whose home was recently invaded, Jamie (Will Estes) finds himself the subject of an investigation after a perp is found wearing his police vest in the new episode “Vested Interests.” Elsewhere, Danny and Baez (Donnie Wahlberg, Marisa Ramirez) probe the suspicious death of a hotel employee that originally was thought to be a suicide.

Adapted from a book written by Gary Stewart, this new four-part docuseries — which premieres with a double episode — chronicles one man’s search for the father who abandoned him. He discovers that some secrets are best left buried, however, when he comes across information suggesting that his shadowy male parent may be the Zodiac Killer, one of the most infamous serial killers in American history.
