Frankie Drake Mysteries Sometimes even the canniest of sleuths knows when she needs to call in one of the big guns to help crack a case, which is exactly what happens to Frankie (Lauren Lee Smith, pictured) as this period drama opens Season 3 with “No Friends Like Old Friends.” After an old friend from her wartime service disappears in London, Frankie turns to an acknowledged mistress of whodunits — novelist Agatha Christie (guest star Honeysuckle Weeks, Foyle’s War )—for assistance. A Dog’s Journey
W. Bruce Cameron co-adapted his own novel of the same title for director Gail Mancuso’s sentimental 2019 sequel to the 2017 dramedy A Dog’s Purpose. Josh Gad lends his voice to the multiple incarnations of a canine spirit whom we first meet as Bailey, an elderly St. Bernard mix living with his senior owner (Dennis Quaid) and his wife (Marg Helgenberger). Betty Gilpin (GLOW), Kathryn Prescott, Henry Lau and Johnny Galecki also are featured.

You’re Bacon Me Crazy Budding chef Cleo Morelli (Natalie Hall, Charmed) has scored a success with Portland, Ore., foodies with the fresh sandwiches she serves at her busy food truck, so she’s a little thrown to discover that Gabe (Michael Rady), her handsome new friend, actually owns a rival food truck that has started parking across the street from Cleo’s spot. As the city’s first-ever food truck contest nears, Cleo lets her competitive streak take over in a big way. Michael Karl Richards and Casey Manderson co-star in this 2020 romantic comedy.
