World War II: Race to Victory This new three-part, six-hour documentar­y series, airing on successive Sundays, looks back at one of the most thrilling “races” in history, as three towering icons and the superpower­s they represente­d teamed up to fight a greater evil, culminatin­g in V-E Day. The saga of how Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin — of Great Britain, the United States and Russia, respective­ly — joined forces starts in “Mortal Peril,” as 350 Japanese planes attack the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941.

Timeless Love

Rachel Skarsten (Batwoman) stars in this somewhat surreal romance as Megan, a young woman who is enjoying a close-to-perfect life with Thomas (Brant Daugherty), her handsome and devoted husband, and their two precious children. That idyllic life implodes, though, when Megan is stunned to find herself coming out of a coma and discoverin­g she is not married. Fate intercedes when Megan meets Thomas in real life. Can she make him fall in love with her to ensure their happily ever after, however?

Beecham House on Masterpiec­e Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham) co-wrote and directed this original series, set primarily in Delhi near the dawn of the 19th century. As the six-part drama opens, former soldier John Beecham (Tom Bateman), about to start business as a trader, buys an imposing mansion surrounded by exotic woods and pristine lawns. The secrecy that surrounds his life quickly attracts speculativ­e gossip from his new neighbors, however. Lesley Nicol (pictured), Lara Dutta, Leo Suter and Dakota Blue Richards also star.
