Say Yes to the Dress

Tonight’s two-hour season premiere opens with an hour devoted to showing fans how Randy Fenoli and his colleagues dealt with the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc on the traditional summer wedding period. Then, the focus for the second hour shifts to the “regular” insanity of dealing with celebrity clients and high-maintenance brides. Among these new episodes, Caila Quinn, a fan favorite from Season 20 of The Bachelor, arrives to shop for a gown with her family and friends. Season 3 of Crikey! It’s the Irwins premieres later this year, but for now, this special episode, “Life in Lockdown,” follows newlyweds Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell as they spend what was planned to be their honeymoon helping mom Terri and brother Robert Irwin care for the 1,200 animals at Australia Zoo when the popular tourist attraction goes into lockdown from the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the family themselves are in home quarantine, they’re busier than ever dealing with unexpected obstacles while running both their zoo and its wildlife hospital.

The UnXplained

As its title suggests, the new episode “The Greatest Escapes” looks back to unforgettable tales of escape, some of which nearly defy explanation. Among the highlights, experts consider the famous escape from Alcatraz and debate whether the prisoners who pulled it off actually lived to celebrate their success. A less famous incident involves a man who received a mysterious form of guidance that allowed him to escape the South Tower of New York’s World Trade Center during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. William Shatner, pictured, is host.
