Santa Fe New Mexican

A kitty finds family

-

Neptune was a 2-year-old stray kitty who was picked up by the Santa Fe animal shelter very dirty and hungry, looking for a second chance in life. After less than a month at the shelter, he met Johnathon and Nicole Gallegos.

The Santa Fe couple, who have had the kitty for six weeks, told the shelter how much Neptune has meant to them:

“We have been truly loving every moment with the new addition to our family we now call Neptune. He has been amazing. We were nervous when bringing him home. We worried he might not like his new home or all the things we got for him, but we were very wrong. He loves to talk and talk and loves to be pet and given loving. He gets sad whenever we leave and usually waits by the door or on top of his cat perch. He really loves laying on top of there and looking outside at the world. He also loves watching TV, which we really get a kick out of! Thank you guys so much for giving us this opportunity to complete our family with our fur baby.”
