Out Daughtered
Viewers may find their already-intense sense of pandemic-related time displacement further triggered by the new episode “Nacho-Typical Thanksgiving,” which finds the Busbys getting ready for a busy Turkey Day celebration. In the middle of all that activity, however, mom Danielle’s health issues start to take center stage yet again. As for the other family members, daughter Blayke has to face her fears when she has to get two teeth pulled, while the Quints get a crash course in the importance of being thankful.

NCIS
Pam Dawber — the real-life wife of series star Mark Harmon — guest stars as an investigative journalist named Marcie Warren in the new episode “Gut Punch,” in which NCIS Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll, who also directed this episode) assigns McGee, Torres and Bishop (Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Emily Wickersham) to COVID-19 compliance duty at a foreign affairs summit. The assignment proves fortuitous, since the NCIS trio discovers a link to another team’s murder case.

The Blended Bunch
The Shemwells take a family camping trip, which means parents Spencer and Erica must contend with potty training the three youngest children in the new episode “Nature Calls.” Adding to the tension, Emma and Harper can’t seem to get along, and Tanner is openly jealous of stepbrother Brayden. In a rare quiet moment together, Erica opens up to Spencer about her fears about the challenges of achieving harmony in their large and fractious blended family.

Chad
Former Saturday Night Live cast member Nasim Pedrad wears many hats in this new single-camera sitcom, which she created and stars in the title role of a 14-year-old Persian boy in his first year of high school. Chad is obsessed with reinventing himself into one of the cool kids, but it’s an uphill battle. The large cast also includes Thomas Barbusca, Saba Homayoon, Brooke Dillman and Jake Ryan. Pedrad also serves as writer and executive producer on the series.
