Trinidad Uranga, 90, Santa Fe, March 28

Trinidad Uranga, 90, was a resident of Santa Fe, NM. She was born in Lubbock, Texas to Juanita Santos and Jose Salazar.

She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Uranga Sr.; daughter, Irene Uranga; grandson, Dominic Uranga; brothers, Santiago and Jacinto Salazar; and sister, Luisa Reyes.

She is survived by her daughter, Corrine Uranga; son, Bernie Uranga; daughters, Nancy Fairchild, Priscilla Uranga, Dottie Hillyer (Brian), and Christella Baca (Joaquin Tapia).

Trinidad, our beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on March 28, 2021 to be at peace and by the Lord’s side. Our family has suffered the greatest of losses. There are no words that could ever be put into context the unmeasurable void she has left in our lives and in our hearts. She was the Matriarch, and the Queen of her beloved family. She was the foundation of which the family was formed. She was our rock and our strength. Trinidad was the glue that bonded the family together. She gave her family her life and sacrificed her all for her 8 children, 18 grandchildren, 38 greatgrandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren. Her home was and will always be our home. Trinidad was and will always be the true definition of unconditional and sacrificial love for her family! Nuestra Reina vivira’ en nuestra corazones por siempre!

A Rosary will be recited on Friday April 9, 2021 at St. Anne’s Catholic Parish at 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment following at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens located at 417 E Rodeo Rd.
