With the help of old friend and lifetime Motor City resident Shea Hicks-Whitfield, pictured left, a real estate expert, Bynum and Thomas buy as many dilapidate­d and abandoned homes as they can on a single block, then renovate them while keeping them affordable for Detroit buyers.

Living With a Serial Killer

This new true-crime docuseries explores the harrowing psychologi­cal impact that is bound to take place when someone discovers that his or her loved one is secretly a murderer. The series premiere looks back at Joanne Dennehy, a “black widow” spree killer who fatally stabbed three men in 2013. Dennehy’s daughter Shianne goes public for the first time with the painful struggle she has had coming to terms with her identity as the offspring of one of Great Britain’s most dangerous women.

Once the king of his criminal domain, Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) now finds himself reduced to fighting for his very survival in the new episode “Sleeping Dogs.” Elsewhere, Teddy (Carter Hudson) resorts to extreme measures himself to salvage both his operation and career. Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Isaiah John, Amin Joseph, Michael Hyatt and Angela Lewis also star.

I Survived a Crime

In the first of two new back-to-back half-hour episodes, a protective father desperatel­y fends off a wouldbe home invader with a shovel, and a street fight over a parking spot turns into an action film-like disaster for a bakery owner. Later, a robber throws gasoline on a clerk, threatenin­g to set him on fire. Then, the following half hour follows a retail store worker who puts her life on the line to save a valuable puppy stolen right in front of her eyes.
