DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
When Astra and Spooner (Olivia Swann, Lisseth Chavez) become involuntary stowaways, they learn that Constantine (Matt Ryan) still is secretly chasing the Fountain of Imperium as they find themselves in 1920s Texas in the new episode “There Will Be Brood.” Left stranded, the other Legends come up with a plan to get help by using Rory (Dominic Purcell) as bait in a gambit that, ideally, could reunite him with something he considers special. Meanwhile, Spooner stumbles across some unexpected information about her own past.

9/11: One Day in America Marking the 20th anniversary of the 2001 terror attacks on the World Trade Center, filmmaker Daniel Bogado’s six-episode docuseries takes a fresh look at that assault via archival footage, eyewitness accounts, interviews with survivors and some previously unaired footage. Produced in partnership with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the series opens with “First Response,” which chronicles how the first firefighters arrive on the scene for their race against time to rescue trapped civilians after a hijacked airliner slams into the North Tower.

Co-hosted by original stars Idina Menzel, pictured, and Kristin Chenoweth, this new two-hour musical special celebrates the reopening of Broadway with a salute to Stephen Schwartz’s blockbuster musical reimagining of The Wizard of Oz. Musical highlights include some of the show’s biggest tunes, including “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good.” Also appearing during the telecast are Rita Moreno, Tony Award winner Gavin Creel, Alex Newell (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and Amber Riley (Glee).

I Love a Mama’s Boy
Season 2 of this reality series about unsettling love triangles involving a man, his mate and his mother features three returning trios and two new mama’s boys. Among the rookies is Theous, whose mother, Carolyn, expects her son to be at her beck and call at all times. It’s little wonder, then, that Theous’ girlfriend, Tia, refuses to marry him until he sets some boundaries. Also new is Bryan, whose mother, Jayne, meddled in his wedding to Tracy. Now she plans to join them on their honeymoon.
