Curb Appeal Xtreme Architect-designer John Gidding and landscape designer Jamie Durie return to HGTV to host this new spinoff of the outdoor renovation series “Curb Appeal,” joined by newcomer Rachel Taylor, a custom carpentry and furniture expert. The new series tackles challengin­g home exteriors that compromise the “curb appeal” of the home in question, as well as front lawns and backyards in serious need of an overhaul. Transforma­tions include taking a dangerousl­y sloped yard and turning it into a family oasis, complete with a designated play zone for the kids.

Riverdale

Erstwhile cast member Robin Givens directed the new episode, “Chapter Ninety-One: The Return of the Pussycats,” which sees music superstar Josie McCoy (guest star Ashleigh Murray) back in Riverdale, after vanishing without explanatio­n in the middle of her world tour. After reuniting with former bandmates Valerie and Melody (guest stars Hayley Law and Asha Bromfield), however, Josie finally opens up about why she’s come home. Elsewhere, a surprise visit from her old friend Alexandra Cabot (guest star Camille Hyde) inspires Veronica (Camila Mendes) to get creative.
