DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

Picking up the action in the immediate wake of the Season 6 finale, “The Bullet Blondes” opens Season 7, with the Legends having saved Earth from its alien adversarie­s. Unfortunat­ely, their Waverider was collateral damage in that conflict, stranding them in 1925 Odessa, Texas. Trying to fix things, Astra (Olivia Swann) flexes her powers, unwittingl­y drawing unwanted attention from the locals, not to mention J. Edgar Hoover. Meanwhile, Zari (Tala Ashe) mourns the loss of Constantin­e. Caity Lotz and Jes Macallan also star.

8 p.m. KWBQ-19 BATWOMAN

As Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) keeps the streets of Gotham safe, Luke (Camrus Johnson) — aka Batwing — joins in on the action, although he hasn’t entirely mastered his suit in the Season 3 premiere “Mad as a Hatter.” Elsewhere, Sophie (Meagan Tandy) basks in her freedom, while Alice (Rachel Skarsten) sits imprisoned in Arkham. Meanwhile, Mary (Nicole Kang) misses her family terribly as she prepares to graduate from medical school, and Ryan pays Alice a visit to learn more about her bombshell revelation that Ryan’s birth mother is still alive.

8 p.m. USA THE SINNER

Season 4 of this crime thriller opens with its central character, Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman), now retired. Still reeling from the traumatic events of his last case, Harry desperatel­y is in need of some rest and relaxation, so he and his partner, Sonya (Jessica Hecht), travel to Hanover Island in northern Maine. After they arrive, however, an unexpected tragedy involving the daughter of a prominent local family soon draws Harry into the investigat­ion. Joe Cobden, Frances Fisher, Michael Mosley and Neal Huff also star.
