TILLIE GARCIA

90, our family’s rock, was called home to her eternal resting place on Friday, December 17, 2021. She is now sharing her delicious recipes, dancing, and playing poker with the angels.

Tillie was born on December 31, 1930 in Chimayo, NM. She was raised in Santa Fe and resided in Rio Rancho.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nazario Archuleta and Anita DeAguero; loving husband, Adolph; brothers, Richard Archuleta and Joe DeAguero; sisters, Mary Sandoval, Dudy Montoya, Angie Pacheco; and daughterin-law, Anna Mae Garcia.

Tillie is survived by her children, Joanne Sena (Robert), Carl Garcia (AnnaMae), and Jean Rivera (Del); brother, Manuel DeAguero(Connie); sisters, Elsie DeAguero, and Julia Griego; sister-in-laws, Bertha Roybal, Tess Burgess, Virginia Ortiz, and Susan Sena; six grandchildren, Robert Sena (Renee), Rebecca Maes(Juan), Rachel Garcia(Brittini), Laura Escarcida (John) Andres Rivera (Jackie), Angel Rivera; 10 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dedicated caregivers.

Pallbearers- Robert Sena Jr, Rachel Garcia, Andres Rivera, John Escarcida, Juan Maes, Isaac Rivera, Santiago Chavez, Christopher Sandoval, Valentin C de Baca, David Pacheco and John Eddie Pacheco.

The visitation for Tillie will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Followed by the rosary at 12:30 pm and Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
