WHAT: Viva Week Lecture In collaboration with Axle Contemporary’s exhibition And She Dances, join a conversation between artists Vicente Telles (Atrisco) and Jason Garcia/Okuu Pín (Santa Clara Pueblo/Tewa). The exhibition and conversation reflect on traditional Pueblo and New Mexican art and explore shared meanings and overlapping traditions and values. Axle’s mobile gallery will be on hand during the lecture. The exhibition runs July 29 to August 22.
