-

Chances are that each and every one of us has experiences an itch, a rash or a skin condition of some kind at least once in our lives, but what of the more persistent and pesky skin afflictions? From eczema to keloids and beyond, Dr. Emma Craythorne has been helping patients find relief at her dermatological practice in London, England. Now heading into its fifth season, Craythorne and her team prepare to battle a whole new selection of dangerous, ugly and uncomfortable maladies. Season 5 of “Save My Skin” premieres Wednesday, June 14, on TLC. Ever since the series’ debut in 2019, Craythorne has been getting up close and personal with the most infectious, annoying and disfiguring skin abnormalities, and this new season is no different. While those who have seen the show will already know what to expect, TLC described the new season in such a way that may make even the most loyal “Dr. Pimple Popper” devotees tune in, stating that Craythorne continues “[u]sing cutting-edge technology and tried and tested methods of popping, slicing, and squeezing, [as] she helps people get their lives back.” The new episodes see the dermatology team at 152 Harley St. in London facing some familiar conditions, such as allergic reactions and simple dermatitis, along with some real stumpers. More specifically, according to PremiereDate.News, “a few mystery conditions ... put Emma’s skin sleuthing skills to the test” as she tries to suss out a diagnosis and get to the root of the issue to prevent it from occurring ever again.
