Looking at 2017 in review, at our Santa Fe Reál series covering real estate in our City Different, we explored what makes our community unique and what we as a city are challenged with going forward. We live in a fascinating reality: a relatively small town with a world-wide draw. The growing support and success of our municipal airport is a shining example of the great things that are happening. The focus on building projects addressing workforce housing, the rental and purchase opportunities to support the influx of dynamic 21st-century careers coming to New Mexico is beyond exciting. The vision of our centuries-old city retaining its traditions and allure while embracing the future with open and new concepts is very real and taking a stronger foothold around us.

Our real-estate market has been robust in 2017. For us the 4th quarter is as busy and productive as the rest of the year has been. As we fly into 2018, we bring with us optimism while retaining the lessons of the last ten years. We see many of our clients balancing their assets between real estate and investment vehicles like the stock market.
