Sally Cragin presents virtual moon program

CLINTON » The Bigelow Free Public Library is teaming up with award-winning journalist Sally Cragin for a special Zoom presentati­on from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, about the wonders of the moon on our moods and our minds and what to look for in the starry night sky.

Cragin will discuss understand­ing the phases of the moon and how it affects us; history of the phases of the moon in art and culture and famous poetry as well as historic decisions effected by the phases of the moon; what to look for when you are outside at night over the next couple of months; and adjusting to the phases of the moon during quarantine.

Cragin’s art writing and theater reviews appeared regularly in several area newspapers. She has written “Moon Signs” for newspapers nationwide and is the author of “The Astrologic­al Elements” and “Astrology on the Cusp” which have been translated and sold in a number of countries world
