A new Franklin Pierce University-Boston Herald national poll shows President Trump was within striking distance of Joe Biden — until he came down with COVID-19. The poll was taken two days before and three days after the news broke that Trump had caught the virus. Here’s a snapshot of the survey that has a 3.1% margin of error:
