FITCHBURG » Out on bail for allegedly stealing a Jeep from a city dealership in May, a city man was arrested last Thursday after police said they found a large quantity of narcotics after the execution of a search warrant, according to police and court documents.

On Oct. 8, members of the State Police Gang Unit and Special Tactical Operations Team and the North Worcester County Drug Task Force raided the residence of Jovan Radulescu, 21, of 45 Jackson Ave., and found 162 grams of fentanyl (individually packaged), 102 grams of cocaine (individually packaged), 22 vials of steroids, nearly $20,000 in cash, and an automated money counter, police said.

As a result, Radulescu was charged with trafficking more than 100 and less than 200 grams of cocaine, trafficking more than 100 and less than 200 grams of fentanyl, possession of a Class E controlled substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws, according to court documents.

A woman at the residence was also charged with trafficking cocaine and fentanyl and conspiracy to violate drug laws, police said, adding that she will be summonsed to court on the charges.

When Radulescu was arraigned on Friday, he was ordered held in lieu of posting $5,000 cash bail or $50,000 surety bond, according to court documents.

However, he had his bail revoked for the arrest in May on the motor vehicle theft from a Jeep off the lot of Ron Bouchard Chrysler Dodge Ram.

He is being detained at the Worcester County House of Correction.

When he was arrested in May, Radulescu had moved the Jeep from the lot to the Patriot Gas Station on Lunenburg Street and was attempting to have it towed by another vehicle, documents state.

He was released after his arraignment on the motor vehicle theft charges and two counts of vandalism, one for the damage to the Jeep and another charge for allegedly damaging another vehicle in the parking lot, after posting a $1,500 bail.
