FITCHBURG - David Steven Holden, 28 of Fitchburg, passed away suddenly on Saturday the 5th of December 2020. David attended Quabbin Regional High School and Fitchburg High School.

David was born in Leominster, Ma on February 19, 1992, he is the beloved son of Mark and Jody(Miner) Holden, He is survived by his sisters Margaret E. Sweeney and her Fiancé

David M. Orre from Fitchburg and Kara L. Holden and her significan­t other Alexis Rivera Soto from Fitchburg. He is also survived by his loving partner Kerri A. Harrington and her daughter’s Layla and Ava Monroe of Fitchburg.

Paternal grandparen­ts are Alfred R. Holden of Lunenburg and Charlene F. (Michaud) Holden of Fitchburg. Maternal grandparen­ts are Bette and Richard Marceau of Hampton, N.H. David is also survived by his loving aunts and uncles: Harold P. Wirta, Shelly (Holden) and her husband David Salinas, Wendy (Holden) and her husband Dean Cucchiara of Winchendon, MA

David is the loving and very caring uncle of many nieces and nephews Andrew, Tyrell, Kaylin, Hannah, Tyteana and Nicholas and paternal cousin to Megan, Sarah, David, and Daniella.

He is predecease­d by his maternal grandfathe­r David L. Miner, his paternal Step-grandmothe­r Judith H. (Jarvela) Holden and Paternal Uncle Steven Holden

David served in various capacities since high school, his most recent being in the deli at Crosby’s Marketplac­e. David’s passions were family gatherings, love for animals, especially dogs, fishing, music, dek hockey and watching his Bruins team.

David cared for everyone and he was especially gifted at making everyone around him feel loved. David always made time for those in need. He had a kind word and a big hug for everyone, as well as a hearty laugh. His compassion in difficult circumstan­ces was a source of comfort for many in his lifetime as he was the most sincere, kindest, devoted and loving Uncle, brother, son, grandson cousin and friend who will be greatly missed.

A private service for David will be held at the funeral home. There are no calling hours. A burial service will be held in the Spring of 2021 and will be announced at that time. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the
