-

LEOMINSTER » After an investigation into drug dealing at a

Pleasant Street apartment, a search warrant was executed that resulted in the discovery of heroin and five large-capacity weapon magazines, according to police and court documents.

After officers with the North Worcester County Drug Task Force and the State Police drug and gang unit executed the warrant at 314 Pleasant

St. on June 25, they summonsed Josselyn Guzman, 37, and Jose M. Colon, 45, both of the same address, to court on a charge of possession to distribute a Class A controlled substance (heroin) and possession of a largecapacity feeding device for an AR-15 rifle (which was not found during the search), police said.

The officers located nine individually wrapped baggies with heroin or fentanyl with a combined weight of 3.6 grams, 20 grams of an unknown white powder, $113 in cash and the five weapon magazines, police said.

When both were arraigned in August, a state prosecutor asked they be held pending the outcome of a dangerousness hearing, which was denied by the judge, according to court documents.

Both were released on personal recognizance and ordered to remain drug and alcohol free, possess no weapons, and return to court for a pretrial hearing, which was continued until Sept. 2 and on two later dates, according to court documents.

They will return to court Feb. 18 for a probable cause hearing, according to court documents.
