Elaine L. (Colburn) Eden

LUNENBURG - Elaine L. (Colburn) Eden, 79, peacefully entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born in Leominster on January 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Mendall W. Colburn, Sr. and Etha (Olsson) Colburn. She was a graduate of Lunenburg High School and resided in Lunenburg much of her life. Elaine enjoyed her time working as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Heimberg. Elaine will always be remembered for her kind spirit and gentle nature. She had the ability to make friends wherever she went; from her summers spent in Kennebunk, Maine, to winters in Florida. She enjoyed shopping and visiting antique stores, often adding to her antique doll collection. Her family was her world, and she loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, G. Robert Eden of Lunenburg; two daughters, Lorna Smith and husband Paul of Lunenburg, and Diane Levanti and husband Michael of Westminster; grandchildren, Amanda Smith Moriarty and husband Eugene, Brittany Rogers and husband Patrick, Anthony Levanti and wife Alicia, and Eric Levanti and significant other Kimberly Francis; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her brother Mendall W. “Skip” Colburn, Jr.
