John B. Hebert Husband, Father and Grandfather

FITCHBURG - John B. Hebert, 82 of Fitchburg passed away on Wednesday, December 23,

2020. He was the husband of 61 years to Lenora (Rollins) Hebert.

John was born on July 2, 1938 to the late Vernard and Katherine (Kalagher) Hebert. He grew up in Ashburnham and graduated from Fitchburg

High School in 1957. John then served in the Coast Guard and upon returning worked at Howard Johnson in Lancaster. Afterwards he went into papermaking at the former Fitchburg Paper Co. for 36 years, retiring in 2002. In John’s free time he would be found reading or fishing. He also enjoyed yard work, bus trips and taking rides to Vermont.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his three children, John Hebert and his wife Judith of Fitchburg, Joan Cote and her husband Austin of Townsend and Michael Hebert and his wife Marni of Muskego, Wisconsin. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Sean and Tara Hebert, Ross and Kasey Cote and Rebecca, Sabrina, and Lillian Hebert.

Services for John will be private. John will be buried in the Meeting House Hill
