• Consider looking back in the news for checking out “year in review“media reporting to refresh your memory.
• How did the year feel to you? What were your hopes when the year began and how did they change by the end of it?
• Where were you during some of the year’s most important moments?
• Think about what you might have liked to know about what it was like to be a Fitchburg resident during the Spanish flu pandemic 100 years ago.
• If you are a student, what was it like for you this year?
• How did your job change?
• Did someone you know or love become sick? Did you have loved ones who passed away? Pay tribute to them.
• Did you have a favorite mask? Did you match them with your outfits?
• Think the pandemic was a hoax? Overhyped? Under hyped?
• Feel free to express all your political opinions specifically about what occurred in the year 2020. The year started with the Senate impeachment trial and ended with a contentious election that tested our very democracy. What were your views on all of that? Where are you anxious? Hopeful? Disappointed? This is something the future will be extremely interested to know.
