Denise M. Jillson

LEOMINSTER - Denise M. (Ducharme) Jillson, 82, of Leominster formerly of Lunenburg, died Friday morning, January 8, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

She was born in Worcester on February 28, 1938 a daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte (McLaughlin) Ducharme and grew up there, where she attended St. Stephen’s High School. She was a longtime resident of Lunenburg before moving to Leominster in 2010.

Denise enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, knitting and painting.

Her husband of 48 years, Harold K. Jillson died in 2009. She leaves two daughters, Jaye F. Jillson and wife, Lesley Burnap of Oxford, and Jill A. Amador and her husband, Michael of Leominster; her beloved grand dogs, Harley & Mia; nephews and nieces.

She is predeceased by a sister, Gail Johnson of Millbury.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 16 at 11AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. A calling hour will be held on Saturday morning prior to the funeral Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.

Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.

Social distancing practices and face coverings will be required for all services.
