Rebuttal to David Boyd

-

This is a Rebuttal to David Boyd: 36,000+ lies.

Not quite.

That would be 25 lies per day. Trump loved his twitter, but even he was not that prolific. Besides most of those “lies” were actual “truths” that the progressives, and media, did not want to hear. Excepting the final couple of months, nearly all the rest were mis-quotes and misrepresentations by the media of what he actually said.

“Left the country in a state of division”? I’ll have to give you that, but at whose fault?

It was not Trump who proclaimed the presidency “stolen” in 2016 and spent the next four years in a witch hunt to steal it back.

And his management of the pandemic was no “joke.” It was Trump who started implementing travel restrictions when the world thought the virus was a

“local epidemic in a local province of China,” only to be condemned by the media as “overreacting.” It was Trump who provided sheltering sites so that Americans trapped on cruise ships in the western Pacific could safely return to the U.S. It was Trump who cut the unnecessary, waste reviews from the vaccine approval process, only to be condemned by the media for “rushing,” and endangering public health. It was Trump who contracted for unapproved vaccine to be stockpiled in anticipation of approval. It was not Trump’s fault the suppliers misrepresented their ability to ramp up production deliver on promises. Had Biden been in charge we would still be waiting on FDA approval for the vaccine companies to start clinical testing. It is by Trump’s legacy that the U.S. is a world leader in the rollout of the vaccines and over 70,000,000 Americans have received at least a first dose. — David Adams
