3rd virus biz survey under way
FITCHBURG » The North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the MassHire North Central Workforce Board, the Mon
tachusett Regional Planning Commission, NewVue Communities and many of the cities and towns in North Central Massachusetts to conduct a new online survey of businesses and organizations in the region on the continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an announcement from the chamber.
This new survey is the third in a series of surveys conducted by the chamber since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first two surveys, conducted in March and October of 2020, provided critical information on the immediate impacts to businesses and insight on the support most needed by businesses to weather the economic challenges caused by the pandemic. The third survey is intended to collect fresh data and to evaluate the continuing impact of the pandemic to local businesses over time, according to the chamber.
The survey addresses businesses’ operational and workforce impacts. Businesses are also asked to share information about resources they have leveraged or still need to aid in recovery efforts and their plans for 2021. Responses will be kept confidential, however, results will be shared in the aggregate.
The North Central Massachusetts COVID-19 Business Impact Survey is available online and can be found at https://www.northcentralmass.com/ coronavirus- impact- survey- 3/. Businesses and organizations located in the 27 communities of North Central Massachusetts, including past survey participants, are encouraged to complete the survey. The survey results are expected to be published in May.
